I like shifting, but tonight I sure missed an A/T. My left leg is still trembling. I was caught in a 3 hr traffic jam. The mother of all traffic jams. It started with a truck fire, then something else happened. Stop, go a few feet, stop, go a few feet, etc, etc. For 3 hrs. Never stopped long enough to get out for a stretch.

Shifting is no problem. Clutching is. Wish Honda would give us an automatic with Shiftronic (or something like that).

That's one of the reasons why I picked a CR-V - I ws tired of shifting all day every day for the last 10-15 years. Sometimes I miss it, but not most of the time

You should try working out more! :p
All stock clutches in typical passenger vehicles are nice and soft already.

True, but when you are stuck in a 3 hour stop-n-go traffic jam, you start to question standards (especially when you get older) ;)

Try driving through manhattan at 5 on a friday its 3 hours to a mile and is so rough on your brakes you can feel the heat off them a foot away. The cabbies are rough my buddy drives a stick 02 Audi S6 (so good) and cabs get 5 inches off his rear bumper he has to launch the car to avoid rolling back plus cab drivers don't wait for you to go before they start moving.

Those cab drivers sound like the big rig drivers in NORCAL. they get right up to you and bam you slam the throttle fast to get outta there in a hurry.

The only MT that I have drivven is my fathers RX-8 and only in parking lots i am still in my learning curve.
