Could not believe this happened! Some inconsiderate :mad: buffoon lost a 33 gallon commercial grade trash can on I-4 (Central Florida), guessing it blew off a truck (doink). I had absolutely nowhere to go. Semi on my right and construction barriers to my left. The trash can was rolling in my lane. Split second decision to grab hold of the wheel and go over it (tried to minimize the impact and veered as much as possible to the right). Hoping and praying the impact would not send me out of my lane. I maintained, thank goodness.
Got to work and discovered, to my horror, that this trash can did a number to my new V. Ripped out the shroud (driver's side wheel liner) and dented the bumper. As the day wore on, I became even more upset at whoever this bozo was.
Well, it has been a month and I had all the repairs made, set me back some bucks though. The pros at the body work shop treated me and the V superbly.
Anyway, I am a newbie…glad to be here!
