I found it interesting reading...lots of idiots posting crap about the CR-V compared to their big rigs. I couldn't resist but throw in some pics of my CR-V doing it's thing just to get a reaction, and of course many of those idiots took the bait. They just don't seem to understand that there are different levels of offroading and that you don't always need a huge rig to do the stuff we do with our CR-Vs. We know our limits and we don't go out to pretend that it's a rock crawler. Anyway...happy reading!

Alpine, simply a great response you posted on that site. Yes all vehicles have their limitations, and you buy a vehicle for its suitability in matching your own requirements.

I have only had my V for a week now, and am completely taken by the handling it offers on road, and now haven taken it off road, am impressed how it performed along some of our Cumbrian mountain off road routes (Hope to post some pics soon). For me this vehicle offers a perfect balance between on road comfort and poise, space and practicality, economy and the ability to cater for the occassional off road moment.

I do hope that we see more of your excellent off road capers!:D
