never heard of it before but I went to my dad for a solution of fixing all the scratches, dings, etc on the front bumper of the Cr-v. He stated that he has some flexible black mar-hyde which is almost like spray-on rubber bedliner. I said, I do not want a bed-liner finish, he said "I know" and stated that we would be able to sand it down smooth, and then I could paint it however I want. I'm skeptical, but I let him do it (he knows his stuff, so I trust him) so we taped off the whole rest of the car except for the front bumper and sprayed it. It looks exactly like Bed-liner so it's rough but in random patterns, it doesn't look bad, but I definitly want it smooth:D. I pulled the other tape off, and am going to re-mask it when it's dry to sand it. (I don't like to leave tape on for long periods of time) It looks professional, but like I said, the finish is undesirable, but Mar-Hyde is supposed to be able to flex for paint finishes, as it's almost rubber. He uses it to paint flexible boat hatches, and they look good. Hopefully it works... Will keep everyone updated.
