Hi y'all...I'm intending to buy a new Honda CR-v. Right now I've been driving a Passat Wagon '03 with 147k. I go back and forth to Fla and Pa and need a car I can load up--my wife keeps dragging her clothes back and forth!
What I need to know is where I would find the best shop in South Florida...anywhere from Boca to West Palm. All suggestions gratefully appreciated.

I think the first place to start is KBB and Edmunds. You can request a quote from several dealers.
Also, they have some great deals on the '09s right now. The dealership was giving me a new '09 EX-L for less than 1500 higher than the 2010 EX!

I got the quotes, but I'd like to get the car where they have the best mechanics. A few dollars more or less is not as important as good service.

you can take your car to any dealer you want, you don't have to buy it and service it at the same dealer.
we purchased it at 70 miles from where I live, because there I got the best deal.

I drove 70 miles too! In LA traffic, that translated close to 2 hours though. Got mine from Norm Reeves Honda in the Cerritos Auto Square. Not because of the deal though... just because no other dealer had a black on black 2010.
The wife is still jumpin up and down, this being her first car. So that makes it a reasonable deal, I guess.

I drove from La to Loma Linda for the color and deal also.
I've just seen a Spreen Honda plate close to my house, so I guess others are doing the driving also.

Exactly.
Get the best price from one dealer, and then make friends with the GM or service manager at your preferred dealer for service.
You don't need to stick to just one dealer, that is silly.
