Can I fit 225/55/17 Rubber? (OE offset)
Tire Rack recomends 225/55/17 but for some reason 235/55/17 tires are cheaper. But if you go to a 18'' wheel, tirerack recomends 235's
Anyone?

What is the rim width, 7.5? I think 235 would be pushing it a little bit, I had 225s on my old 17s and used to rub on sharp turns with my 3 inch drop.

You should be fine. I'm wearing 235/60/16 on my 1st gen.
The 235/55/17 you propose is slitely larger by 0.07 inches outside diameter.
Problem is. I have mine lifted and stiffer springs.
BEFORE: with 225/65/16 with shot springs and shocks I was rubbing slightly at the back when I had 5 people in it and going over a bump.
