wife it's 38 and I'm 42, so it's hard to vote.

I would never have thought that with 17 votes so far, the bigger percentage of CR-V drivers would be over 61!!
Interesting. :)

im hopin for the more 20-30 range myself...but i guess my local observation has held true overall...im sure the older crowds are the ones rocking the 3rd gens where the under 30 are sportin the 1st and 2nd gen

That sounds about right. The 2nd gen was geared towards younger males and the 3rd gen was geared primarily towards older females, and moms.

Frau & me @ 60. Older folks enjoy ease of entry/exit, high seating/sight lines, comfy seats with good range of motion.:) Speak from experience as we took a 4.5K trip this past summer.:D [http://www.crvownersclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7410]

Well, in a college town (around 16,000 undergrad and grad students) I see a lot of younger people driving around in 1st and 2nd gen V's. The professors and other staff seem to drive more 2.5nd and 3rd gens (due to the fact that they make money while we all have none and are just happy to have something to drive).
I have also noticed that I am seeing a lot more males driving 1st gens up here than I have seen before.

I'm 22 and I drive a Gen 2. I agree, I live in a college town (still in college) and yeah I see a lot of 1st gens with the younger guys and 3rd gen with the older folks. I, speaking as a young guy, really like the gen 2's and 1's, while the gen 3's aren't quite as attractive. I think they are a little more mini-van looking than SUV looking like the earlier generations.
BTW I'm not trying to knock on gen 3 owners in any way.

60, uugggghhh! The V is an empty nester's Odyssey with 4WD! It great when your back hurts and you don't feel like shoveling the drive way. It is a nice size vehicle for us oldies. Seats fold up easily to give more cargo space, and your butt is not dragging 6" off the pavement. Very sensible vehicle for older drivers.

I'm 35, rockin' the Gen3. :-) And CR-Vs are EVERYWHERE. Yesterday I was stopped at an intersection for a red light and counted 15 within sight. I was amazed.

I am 58 and think my 2001 S2000 is a sensible vehicle for older drivers.

I'm 38 and my wife is 45. My wife usually drives our 1st gen V, but I repair and clean it. Also, I drive it when I'm working on my car or when I need to haul bigger items.

I'm 63 and the CRV is my first SUV ever. Wife (62) and I needed more cargo room to haul stuff on trips - so we swapped one of our sedans for it. It's really comfortable on trips, and, handles nice. Real easy for us to get in and out of too.

It's interesting that the Crv isn't favored by one age group over another.
