View Full Version : weatherseal
Hi Trevor,
I'm new to the site and a new owner of a 1999 cr-v ex. I need the weatherstrip for all four doors. Would it be possible for you to get this part and if so could you please let me know. The rubber on the strips has worn down to the metal and I would like to replace them.
Thanks.

Thanks.I was going to move your post where it would get additional views, but I don't have rights in this section.
Anyway, here is an illustration from slhondaparts.com (on-line dealer) for the front doors Parts 10 (right) and 13 (left) are about $58 each, plus shipping. See if your local dealer will price match to save you the shipping charges. (not shown, but the rear ones are about $51 each)

Thanks a lot 2redv's. I'll check with my local dealer!

Are you hearing wind noise or are the rubber seals just deteriorated?
the rubber is down to the metal and doesn't look very nice. I'm not hearing any wind noises. I haven't had a chance to check with the dealer her yet. I've been extemely busy.
Thanks for the help!

You may be able to get a universal set of weatherstriping from autozone or oreilly's and they are cut to fit plus I believe its cheaper than the dealer.

Thanks Chris! I hope the quality is good though. I'll stop by autozone on my way home today.

The quality is really good, I have used them before on other cars both for doors and trunks.
