I am new to this site, just bought a CR-V 2 days ago. I selected my model on the profile page, and there were numerous selections beyond 4WD or 2WD EX or LX. There was a 4AT 5AT and MT. I can't remember the other choices. I looked at my window sticker but could not discern what these choices are. I chose 4AT just to make a choice. Can anyone explain?

I should be on Jeopardy. Feeling a little stupid here. But in my defense, there is no choice in the 2007, all 5AT. Thanks for the info. I'll go correct the profile. And by the way the armrests are terrible.

Armrests are all terrible in CR-V's. I keep mine (2006) folded up. Useless.

I think the situation with the armrest has a lot to do with how you set your seatback position, and to a lesser extent, the seat height and steering wheel.

I must say that for me, the arm rest is good. I have the seat height and steering wheel adjusted just right, so my elbow rests on the edge of the armrest, and I have a perfectly horizontally reach to the steering wheel.

Also, because I keep my seatback relatively vertical with just a slight incline, the armrest remains horizontal and adequately supports my right arm.

One last thing I like about it is that I can still get my seatbelt on/off without having to move the arm rest, so I can leave it down all the time. In most of the other vehicles I've had, I would have to raise the arm rest in order to buckle/unbuckle.

It sounds from all the posts, that I'm in the vast minority here regarding the arm rest, but I will go on record as saying it works for me, and that's a good thing because I use it every day:D

A good proper slouch requires the seat angled back. As such the end of the arm rest hits about 3 inches in front of my elbow leaving the rest to dangle. Maybe the EX-Ls have better arm rests than the EX.

First of all, I am glad you asked about the MT and AT.....I also had no idea what it meant......

As far as armrests.....I have no complaints about mine at all - I always have mine down. ;)

Another thing missing from the profile choices are some of the 07 CRV color names. Mine is Glacier Blue which is not on the list.

Mine is Green Tea and that wasn't on the list either. I just got the CRV last night and the arm rest works for me but it gets in the way when I go to buckle the seatbelt.

I sent a PM to an admin of the forum to add the rest of the new names. Should be done real quick.

Hmmmm? Tea Green? For some reason I thought you wanted a red one.

Nighthawk Black Pearl is really cool and I didn't have to bother the Admins to add it to the list.

Take a vote, what is the coolest color?

For those yet to do so, fill in your location - you could be anywhere in the world and it's tough for members to help you out if they don't know where you are. You could have the steering wheel on the right or left side!

Okay, so here's the story. My first choice was green but my dealer told me a couple months ago that it would be at least 5 months before they could get a green one because they are in such high demand around here. So I decided to go with my second choice, red. Then when we went to buy the car last Thursday, they found me a green one at a dealer a few hours away. It's amazing what they will do for you when you go in on the last day of the month and tell them you are ready to sign right now for the right price. :)
