I joined this forum to get information about my 2006 CR-V. So far my posts have been relocated by admin.so I had to hunt for it, and then I got no response from any one who even had a clue what I was talking about. I have a problem that is inherent to all front wheel drive cars and there isn't even a sticky on the subject of cv/axle diagnosis and repair. If there is a "How To or DIY" I surely can't find it. I really can't see how any of you can help each other out with a problem! There are lots of post on how to paint your bumper and change your grill but these trivial things don't help the vehicle owner to troubleshoot and repair their vehicle. I apologize if I offended any one but I belong to a Diesel forum that has better information than what is on here and when an "admin moves your post they at least let you know why and where they moved it to. I will continue to monitor just to see if by some great chance someone has the same problem with their vehicle as mine and then I will sit back and see how it is treated. Very disappointed in this site!!:confused::confused:

Well, the thing is, until someone has had the problem, the DIY will not be there. I'll give you the instructions for the 2002, and hopefully it's the same. Give me about 5 minutes to copy it. I'm sorry you've been so unhappy.

actually:
"So I posted in DYI/MODS about a problem I'm having when I accelerate and no one responded so I will post here. I have a 2006 CR-V front wheel drive with 96,+++ miles and I am getting a bad vibration when accelerating and when at cruise speed I go to speed up and it will vibrate again. The vibration is enough to shake passenger seat with no one in it. Any ideas?? Could it be drive axle's,transmission?? Any help or response would be appreciated."

that sounds exactly like one of the tires is bad or inbalanced. What I like to call a "zebra" Always look for the simplest answer, and 99% of the people who have jumped on here and asked me about this, I tell them check the tires, sure enough, one's bad, they get new ones and the problem is solved. It's called a zebra, because you look to far into it, if you hear something go "clop clop" assume "horse".
