Driver seat elevation

I raise my seat to the maximum elevation, but it won't stay there. It keeps dropping, very slowly, and variably. I don't notice it actually dropping. It just becomes apparrent that the mirrors are not right. It usually take 3 to 4 lever actions to raise it back up. Is this common, is there a lock that I missed?

I think there is a thread on this already and the consensus was that people are leaving the lever in the UP position, not in a lowered. LOCK position.

I checked my lever. It has a center detent position. After raising or lowering the handle always moves back to the center, but I will keep and eye on it.
