When I got my V one headlight was yellow and very cloudy. My old Civic had this same problem and I tried cleaning them by sanding them and using a plastic polish, but it only lasted for a few weeks and then it would yellow again.

I've been searching the salvage yards for a headlight that doesn't have any haze, but haven't been able to find one.

Today when I was in walmart buying a few things I stopped by the automotive section and found Meguiar's PlastX. My first thought was, 'yeah this is really going to work' . I tried everything when I had my civic and noting really worked.

I figured I would try it out on the V and the G35. The G35 has a little oxidation, I guess from all of the smog here.

I applied it to both cars and it worked wonders, especially on the V. The driver's side headlight was horrible compared to the passener side. I am so impressed with the results. I didn't take any before and after pictures because I was so skeptical that it would actually work.

I do have a picture of the front before and after I cleaned it, the quality isn't that great because I used my cell phone. I'm not sure if you can see an actual difference from the pics.

Gia our g35 is on the left. She's a beauty!;)

I recommend this to anyone that has yellow, cloudy lights. This stuff really works!!

Glad to see you cleared up those lenses! It really is quite easy and it amazes me how many seriously clouded and yellow ones that you see on the road everyday. Can you imagine how poor some of these headlights work thru something like that?

When I had my civic I could hardly see the road because my lens were so foggy. This stuff is like gold to me!:D

This product is a must have. The bottle says that it has special oils that help keep the headlight looking new. I think I'm going to start using all meguiar products now. I've been using a combination of Mother's and Meguiar's.

Does Meguiars use the word HEADLIGHTS on the bottle? They avoid it on the web. See my comments at

Yes, and there's a picture of a headlight on the bottle. I'm about to go and wash the V and the bottle is in my car, but I'll let you know exactly what the bottle says when I get back.

I think it also uses the word, cloudy headlights.

I'll let you know when I get back.
