What rim size would you put on your 07 V?

What rim size would you put on your 07 V?17. The bigger you go in size, the more the tires cost. The bigger you go, the aspect ratio must go down, meaning smaller sidewall, which means reduced ride comfort and a greater chance of damaging a rim or blowing out a tire on a pothole.

So its not recommended to put 19"?

Because I'm planing to replace the 17" stock on my 07 V

Can I have your old wheels? For free of course, I'll pay shipping. Leave the tires and tire pressure hickeys in also.

You may want to think about what they may do to several systems:

First your warranty. I don't know for sure, but I doubt Honda is going to take kindly to warranty claims with oversized tires. (and your going to give your old ones to me so you wont be able to slip them on, besides I'am sure they have a sensor for that anyhow which will duly recorded in some black box.)

The larger tire may put more stress on bearings, CV joints etc.

VSA and all the braking stuff. Who knows.

You will raise the center of gravity a bit making it more prone to roll overs.

You might want to check with your insurance to see what modifications to stock equipment will do.

Your odometer will be incorrect showing less mileage than you actually drove. Samo for the speedometer, so you have to watch your speed.

and my wife said it is time to leave. I don't think this is a good idea. But I will relieve you of those old wheels.

The Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act would be in effect. You will not affect your warranty unless the parts you put on are deemed to have caused the damage and then the only part of a warranty that can be voided is to the actual parts that have been deemed damaged by the aftermarket parts.

ex. - If you replace the factory radio and you have a transmission issue, the warranty cannot be voided on the transmission because of the aftermarket radio unless it can be proved that the radio installation caused the damage.
