Also take note that that your speedometer probably reads on the HIGH side and if you have put on taller (larger diameter) tires/wheels, it probably reads LOW.

Sorry! I'm from Malaysia, having CRV 2007 model. The tires was 17" 225 (guess it was standard across other country).
If convert from 118*1.6k=188.8km/h...so I should able to go high than 160km/h...

Fill out your location in your profile, then we will know where you are. :)

I've seen somewhere 07 CR-V's top out at 111 MPH. Had mine to 90 once of twice....

During the 2nd service (5K) as the SC Advisor and call up Honda Malaysia Customer services, confirmed that Max speed for Malaysia G3 CRV is 160km/h, ECU locked and can’t be unlock as equipment didn’t provide to them.

Statement provide by Honda Malaysia Customer Serviceit due to locked by Japan when deliver, after few conversation the answer change to ISO standard / Safety / government rule…all funny answer.

Other SUV model in malaysia can hit higher than that. Example Sorento Kia till 200km/h, X-Trail 190km/h (cut off was 180km/h)

180km/h lock is reasoniable but 160km/h is on bit low side. Is that anywhere to feedback instead of using 3rd party tools add-in module where warrenty will void?

It probably has more to do with tire capabilities than anything else. You NEVER want to overdrive the tires you have, especially in a hot environment.

2RedV's,
111 mph x 1.6 = 177.6 km/h, but our end only with 100mph

lol, I would be scared as **** to drive at top speed but I have got it up to 90mph in Indiana. Amazingly the road noise isn't that bad.

fastest I went with my CRV was 110 mph and I'm not planning to hit top speed.

I noticed it took A LOT of effort to hit 90 with my windows down & roof open than with everything closed. A lot more than I would have expected....

if you want to go fast, you should buy a '07 s2k - and you can go 150+ mph stock, and even more with mods....:D

Open windows are a huge drag on speed and mpg. One of my old convertable musclecars struggles to hit 100mph with the top down and can hit 130mph with the top up, GPS verified.

OK! Is mistake! That was no ECU block at 160km/h (100mph). After a month it able to go till 180km/h (112.5mph) with 5AT with stress, another V owner hit till 185km/h at our area too
