Hi everyone,
due to lack of similar forums for CR-V European models, I have opened this thread so that people that own such cars can put their comments here.
My question is that I am buying a new European 2007 CR-V EX and I am not sure if the car has installed automatic front passenger airbag deactivation (like the American model).
It would help if I could find the relevant owner's manual on the net. I have managed to find the American owner's manual, but not the European. If you have any links in mind, please provide
Thanks

Where did you find the US owners manual?

You can find owner's manuals for almost all Honda and Acura models in the US at the following URL:

Have you looked at the Honda web site? There are different versions for multiple countries. If you don't find it there, ask a local dealer.

OK, no need for the European manual anymore...
I have also got my car last week, so I have the real thing...
The bad news is that the European model does not deactivate front passenger airbag automatically. Only the dealer can perform this task... :(
No issue there. I knew this beforehand, I just had a small hope seeing the American manual and hoping that my dealer could be misinformed!!

Actually no - not even the dealer can do it. (Yes of course they can, but they are not allowed to, atleast not in Sweden).

Why do you want to de-activate the airbag?

Why do you want to de-activate the airbag?
Probably because of little chidren / baby
Same problem here. Dealer can not (yet) deactivate European model. Will have to wait for new software updates.
If really needed they can deactivate it by some sort of by-pass

In the US, babies go in the back seat, middle position and never are to be placed in the front seat which is more dangerous.

In Europe, babies stay with their granny and their mommy in order for us to have the maximum available space for female hitchhikers ;) :D
