First off, these pictures are all in my driveway. Yes, I have a huge driveway, private too. I love it. I haven't done a picture update, nor has there been a perfect day like today for pictures, right after the rain, with bright sun, behind the house. It's great.

Starting with my favorite:

The beetle got some time in after I buffed it off, and cleaned it out, looks better now:

And Jwood wanted a pic of my garage, so here it is:

also if you note in the garage pic, there are two black and red rectangular obects next to the Cr-viper's right headlight, those are the ambulance lights and they're going back on the Cr-v, like before, yes, the afterburners, they're going back on. I like them and I don't care what people think. They're going back on!

I almost didn't catch it because of the Camo.... just a hint of the rear sticking out in the garage pic. I can't believe that your sweetest vehicle didn't even get a wash and wax!!!!

None of the cars got washed or waxed, since it's just going to rain again tomorrow. This weekend promises more dry time so I can wax all the vehicles. The Ranger is going to be painted gloss black in that very car port before too long. I'm going to restore it, I'm already halfway done with modernizing the interior.

What mesh grill? That's an aluminum brushed billet grill. The most American accessory ever, how can it be ricey?

no offense but it looks like crap... ur car would look so much better w/o it.

but then again, it's ur car and my opinion is as worthless as as long as you like ur car. :)

ok to prove my point... i really like this angle for ur car.. it looks good.

Well, I've actually been meaning to paint the grill satin black, to match, I used to have a black grill and it worked well, and yeah, it's the only shiney thing on the car, especially since i just painted my headlights black as well. I may be swapping my old tail lights back on as well. I've just been waiting for the grill to get little dents or something in it, so I can justify painting it.

I got my start with Chrysler back in the mid 80's.

The early Caravans were not that bad......As long as you didn't have the Mitsu motor or fake wood.

I think my mom's had the Mitsubishi motor in it, maybe not. I believe it was a 1989 or earlier, not sure. It had the wiggly spring loaded hood ornament on it with the Plymouth symbol. I broke it off on acident after playing with it by springing it back and forth, and when my mom found out I made her assume I heard someone russling around that night and they probably stole it.;)

We'll have to see, maybe that wouldn't be so bad, they'd look like completely black tail lights... I'm also going to paint the silver rings around each globe satin black so they don't stand out as much.

To those of you who never saw the afterburners, or weren't here yet, or don't know what I'm talking about:

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e356/serj22/Sideview.jpg

The reason I want to do it is that I really like that black line it gave to the back end, and now that the headlights are black, and I'm going to paint the billet black, it will be completely black and blue. I think it will look great.

I agree that it will match everything better, but to me, they look cheap. They dont look like they belong on the V. Granted it isn't my V, and it really doesn't matter what I think. But I am offering my opinion. They will look better with the silver parts painted black though.

They aren't on the car yet, and granted, they were cheap, that's for sure.;) But I have them covered in tape right now, drying some black satin on the Silver parts to get rid of those, I have a feeling those rings alone led to it looking like plastic. We'll see. I got some more detailing to do to them, and if they still don't look right, they won't have a home on the car.

Ahhh, 3 vehicles that contributed to Honda's success in the US. For many owners, those were the last American cars they will ever own. One uncle of mine switched to Toyota after owning a couple Astro's. The other switched to Honda after the fateful ownership of several Aerostars. Many owners happily traded Voyagers for Odysseys.

Please a moment of silence. Let those poor, hopeless ...rather drivetrains and chassis .... of the American minivans of the 80's and 90's rust in peace.
