Can I get a parcel shelf?

Hi, I have recently bought a 1997 Honda CRV (R reg) which does not have a rear parcel shelf/load cover. On looking at the boot, I cannot see where a parcel shelf would fit in so am unsure if this model should have one or not. Can anyone help please? Thanks:)

Honda did offer a rear cover....but it was just a piece of vinyl betwwen 2 rods.It didnt support any weight on top and are very hard to find these days.
