I finally hit the 10,000 mile mark and have been told it is time to rotate my tires. Is this something that can be done at home or does it need to be done in the shop because of the TPMS??? I just need to know if my boyfriend can do it or if it needs to do professionally?

 Difficult to answer, since we don't know your boyfriend. Have you asked him?

TMPS is no problem.

I have always done rotations myself. At home. TPMS on a 2007 will be no problem. The system does does not care which wheel is at what position.

If your boyfriend does not want to do it, tell him some strangers on a forum told you he should. See how reacts to that. :D

And I was going to have him install those cool looking chrome sidesteps and foglights on your black V.

If he refuses to do it, dump him. :p

Unless he's rich. ;)

THanks for the answers....maybe I need to clarify....he offered to do it, but I told him I needed to make sure the TPMS wouldn't cause a problem......and I am going to help so I know what to do next time........Black Pearl - you buy me those extra parts and he said he would be happy to try to put them on:p

Then again you could buy me those cool parts and send him to Pittsburgh to install them. You know, do something nice for the almost elderly.

Just remember to not overtighten the lug nuts when rotating the tires. Best is to use a torque wrench and tighten in 2 increments, up to 80 foot pounds. If you overtighten them, you could end up with a warped rotor.
