I would recommend AVS Vent Visors. I've had them on all my vehicles with out any problems. They come in outside mount, inchannel mount, and a new 6 piece seamless style. I have the seamless ones on my '08 and love them. You can get them here:http://www.lund-hon.com

MarkyMark, thanks for visor advice but I'm going to stick with the weathertech ones. I've heard good things about them. We'll see what happens once I try to install them!

Okay. Got my weathertech visors today and so far have only installed the front window ones. I can't figure out how the back window visors go on. I'm supposed to squeeze this clip on the backside of the window frame but it doesn't fit. I don't want to force it and chance scratching up the black "contact papaer" on the door. Anyway, here's two photos of how the front ones look on my CR-V. I really want to figure out how to get the back ones installed but what do you think so far?

looks beautiful.
i'm trying to decide between the weathertec and the 6pc seamless window vents. you mentioned "clips", so they have some kind of metal clips?? do they have any double sided tape also?

If you watch the video on weathertech's website, you'll see the clips I'm talking about. And yes, they are metal. The back visors also have double sided tape on them. The front ones do not. Oh, I forgot to mention that after I installed the first visor and closed the window, I heard a crack. I took out the visor and it cracked a little piece off. I reinstalled and closed the window very slowly. No cracking noises the second time around. The crack is inside the window channel so you don't see it. I guess it's okay. It seems to be in there nice and solid. I didn't have any problems at all with the other visor. |

When I installed my back visors, I didn't use the clips....they've been in for a few weeks now and I haven't had any problems. |

I'm about to give up! Would it be possible for you to post some photos of your back visors so I can see how you installed them with the extra 2-sided tape you mentioned in a previous post? Do I put the back end of the visor on top of the black part of the door frame? It seems too thick at that spot to put it in the window channel. Is that where you put the extra 2-sided tape?

strange that you have this clip.
i read the instructions on weathertec website, cant find any mention of any clips or double sided tape. i guess their instructions suck.

Just installed the weathertech side deflectors on my '06. It was a little tricky bending the fronts to fit in the channel, but took my time and no problem. For the back window visors I didn't get any clips and the instructions don't mention them (I checked the video and instructions for a 2007 CRV and they're the same as for my 2006). The back visors were easier, I just took off the tape, angled the visor to get both sides in the vertical window channels and slid it up nice and easy until the top of the visor slid in the top horizontal channel (had to make sure the wider part of the visor faces the front of the car). Also raised and lowered the window very slowly several times to help seat the visors, then left the windows up overnight. They look good and do the job, I just wish they didn't come with some scratches and scuffs.
