SAE J2807 Methodology (New tow rating standard)
This new tow rating standard coming is coming very soon, and already used on Toyota 4runner. It will hopefully end many tow rating debates.
It is a standard which nearly all OEM's had a hand in, and will begin using for all 2011 models. This is an international standard, so hopefully it will end the USA vs other country debates too. Do a search on it, there is a little more info about it. But the actual document is not yet published. |
