Hi, I'm adjusting the valve lash on our 1999 CR-V and looking for the above torque wrench setting. A few years back I purchased the Chilton manual #30300 for the vehicle which includes this torque wrench setting for the 4 cylinder Odyssey (7 x 0.75mm @ 14 lbf.ft) but I can't see any mention of it for the CR-V. I would say 22 lbf.ft feels about right for the larger B20B8 locknut which has a 9mm thread size. I asked a local mechanic who suggested common sense was sufficient in this instance - "as long as it's tight" was his comment, but it would be interesting to know what the correct specification is nonetheless, if someone has access to it. Thanks.
