MP3 player question

Howdy. I have a 2007 2WD EX 5 Speed Automatic and love it. My question is about the MP3 player. When the salesperson showed me the car when I was about to drive off the lot, I'm pretty sure she said that I could see what was playing on the MP3 player on the radio/CD screen, but I haven't been able to do that at all. Did I hear her wrong? I admit I was a bit overwhelmed (first new car purchase and all) Thanks!

No - that AUX input is for a stereo connection only. No music data will appear on the radio display. For song info you will have to look at the MP3 player display info.

input port

while traveling to see family up north, I had an MP3 player I used that held 16 hours of music. but I found a different problem with it. I could use an audio cable with the headphone jack, turn the volume all the way up, but here is the problem, I also had to turn the radio up almost all the way up as well. now I know, in planning, I should have copied the same music to 3 CDs and could play it in the CD/WMA/MP3 player. but the audio jack seems not too loud with the volume off of an MP3 player. as far as I have found so far with making a WMA/MP3 disk, create folders on the disk, do not put a lot of files in each folder, as the manual says, the system has it s limits. on the other hand, thos limits are kinda high as well. just make a folder per music group for an album, then that way, you change change the group to the next group, or just have it shuffle between folders.

If your referring to the stock mp3 player that it comes with, which I think the EX model does., when playing an mp3 disc you press "DISP" to filter through Artist Name, File Name, Song Title, Album etc....
hope that helps
