Exclamation help : removing car stereo

i want to install a sub with crv 2007, can anyone tell me how to remove the stereo?

ive searched the net and found nothing on this topic.

This install guide shows the steps for pulling the HU.

you have to take off the the cover of the center aircon first, then remove the aircon grills. this was you can access the radio. if you're going to install a sub, you will have to buy a new headunit bcoz the stock radio has no pre-outs for the wirings. BTW, if you're into sound details, i would suggest changing the HU bcoz the stock HU doesn't deliver the sound well. i installed an Alpine. and im satisfied with it. in fact i even bought an amplifier and some teeters.

depends on the amp. If the amp has speaker level input then the stock hu will work. That is the way my amps are connected and it sounds fine. The highs are limited somewhat but at least its not hurting my ears.
