noise from rear when turning? 2007 CRV

I have noticed an issue, When I turn , either way, at low speeds or tight radius turns, I notice a sound coming from the rear, but i can not seem to find what is causing it. It sounds as if rubber it rubbing against something, or like the tire is rubbing the wheel well, but it isn't....

I had one person from the delearship tell me that it is the tires on the pavement, which is definitely not it.

Has anyone noticed this type of issue and if so, how was it resolved?

2007 CRV EX-L 28K ....

any help with this would be appreciated

If you have 28K on your V, have you ever replaced the rear differential fluid?

If not, that is probably tghe source of the rubbing noise.

Reports here are that rear diff fluid replacement comes up at about 15K miles on the Maintenance Minder, so it COULD be due again if it was done once at 15K. Use only Honda Dual Pump II fluid.

You are probably experiencing one of the more common problems with the RT4WD System. It is not serious unless neglected. If the following TSB accurately describes your problem, simply follow the corrective action in the TSB (or have it done).
