Aftermarket exhaust

I wanted to put a new exhaust in the Cr-v and was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions. I want it to sound good, but not like a tuner.

There is a company call Greddy (I think I got the spelling right) they have a exhaust system called SP2 which I have used on a civic I owned prior to the cr-v and it has a good tone and not overly loud. I do not know if they make it for the CR-V. The one I purchased was a direct replacement with 2.25 in. diameter.

Good Luck

King Motorsport also carries the Mugen exhaust system and muffler replacement. Caution, these are expensive but they also happen to be designed specifically for the CR-V.

Is there any actual benefit to an aftermarket exhaust I would avoid just because of the potential rice-ness

Perhaps in tone, only. Might "boom" on the highway......probably no noticeable performance benefit unless you did other mods.

exaust

I would have to agree with the MUGEN parts. I have been a long time honda owner and tuner and MUGEN exhaust are not known to be "loud" and its specificly made for the CR-V. Also, its only a cat-back exhaust, so you shouldn't run into any check engine lights or have any problems with smog(if your in CA).
