foglights - my experience
Living in Las Vegas, I saw little need for having foglights installed at the time of purchase. I decided to concede when I knew that I'd be leaving Las Vegas. After the sale, local dealerships wanted close to $700.00 to install them. My husband offered to do the install but I was concerned about warranty issues in the future because these are electrical and do require additional mechanical for the interior switch(es). However, I have a good Honda mechanic (not a dealer) in Las Vegas who ordered the actual CRV foglights and installed them for under $500.00 total last fall. I might have saved myself about $50.00 on labor if I'd taken the original Honda Accessory printout to my mechanic and asked him to match the $439.00 "installed price," (hindsight). However, I am very glad to have the foglights now that I've moved to the Pacific Northwest. Also, on hindsight, I think the foglights are a worthwhile investment at the time of purchase no matter where you currently reside.

The Honda lights are not all that bad to install as long as you take your time and follow the instructions. I am not aware of aftermarket lights that will mount into the OEM spot with out any modifications but you can get Honda lights from H&A for $246.00
