Pull out cup holder

How do I remove the pull out cup holder below the radio storage bin on a 2000 V? This is a new vehicle to me and I am trying to clean up the interior. The previous owner must have spilled multiple cups of who knows what in the drink holder. I have been able to clean out the cup area, but the rails that it slides on and underneath it are coated with ??????. I am sure there must be a clip I need to pull or push to release it in order to remove it and a properly cleaning.

have a manual, so it's different, but you should have to unbolt it which means a quick 3 min job. Start taking out screws at the bottom and work your way up from the pocket. Prob 6-8 screws total.
