2019 CRV rear Turn Signals what was Honda thinking?

I have a 2016 CRV Touring whose lease will be up in August. I was considering leasing a 2019 CRV Touring until I found myself driving behind one and saw the almost undetectable turn signals. Honda might as well have put a hit me sign on the back of the car, as in bright sunlight you cannot see the small row of yellow LEDs that are supposed to be the turn signals.
Does anyone else have this concern?

They're good enough for the NHTSA, they should be good enough for you.

Red signals are legal, but they can be really hard to make out, especially when someone keeps riding the brakes.

That said, the CR-V's amber signals are bright enough and I see them just fine. As the second picture shows, while the light may be small, a whole strip of clear tail lamp illuminates (via total internal reflection), so the actual "signal" is bigger than it looks like it should be.

Add these if you feel the factory signals are inadequate

Some are Gen 5 rear turn signals are way less bright than others, a small minority. I've noticed this many times in my 2+ years of ownership. I check mine every couple of months to make sure they are still bright.

No issues with my '18 turn signals. Large and bright! Those following you wouldn't see your lights if they were a hundred times larger and brighter because they have their eyes on their phone.

If people would actually drive their vehicles there would be fewer accidents.
    Enjoy the ride!

I wish that all turn Signals were Amber in color.

Too many cars and trucks still rely on red for turn Signals.

They may look small but they are BRIGHT!

Honda's are fine- can be seen clearly- Issues I have is ones that are on the bumper- like the new hyundai santefe and older infiniti models those are hard to see as they are not in the line of your sight ( not brightness)
