I'm assuming not, but it's the only part that's not brand new

you have to check if u got spark on ur wires or not first. but its up to u if u want to jump right into buying brand new wire and hope it will fix it. i would just buy a spark tester and check if all wires dont got spark.

I haven't had this vehicle very long, but the first thing I do is a tune up when I get something new.
I did actually test for spark at the plugs since it decided not to start, but I hadn't tested for spark at the coil because I didn't have another set of hands available after I got the spark tester.

New coil is in, it starts... but now I'm right back to the original problem of the motor flopping around at idle (all the motor mounts are new) and dying when you come to a stop sign/light with the engine at operating temp.

Does the engine run smoothly when it's cold?

    Sort of lol
Idles where it's supposed to be and it sounds ok when it's cold but not really like it should.
I actually started a new thread with more details since it's most likely a separate issue.
