How much power can a manual trans on a first gen crv handle

I just got my 98 crv and was wondering if anyone new how much power a manual trans can handle. My b20vtec from my hatch put about 210hp to the ground and I was going to swap that into my crv. Let me know thanks.

Epic Tunning is running 600+ through their awd CR-V transmission. So you're
    B20vtec will be just fine.

There's a few members with vtec heads on their cr-v's on the forum.

On transmissions there is a specific torque rating designed into the build. Most transmissions won't grenade the moment you exceed the rating.
Rather their lives are significantly shortened.
