Wow, I've never seen side exhausts on a CRV before. I imagine it had to be pretty loud. No resonator. Did you lose the cat too? In my experience most dual cam honda motors sound pretty low with aftermarket exhausts. Keep your in/out to 3" or less and you "should" be ok.

welded onto my header was a thrush glasspack, then after that it took about a 45 degree angle and exited the side, looked a lot better with the chome tip and such, it was really loud, but when i had it put out the back it was louder, i havent had a cat for about a year.

I am thinking of doing a VTEC conversion to my Gen 1... its the B20Z with a 4 speed Auto.. only "worry" i have is whether the gearbox is gonna be able to take the extra power. My CRV is a JDM import.

JDM Import? Meaning RHD? You'll notice a power gain, however the greatest gain will be converting to manual drive. The tranny is limiting.

Just curious on the power gain. Been looking into Turbo and VTec setup .. cost wise where i live, its almost the same. Power gain wise, i have no idea on the CRV Vtec setup

Yes, its a RHD, but so are the rest of the cars where i live
