Hello guys.
Could you guys please help me with diagnosing what could be the cause for metal grinding or whistling sound on my Honda CR-V, 2007, manual, diesel.
It appears once the engine is at operating temperature.

Thanks!

remove the belt with a 14mm ring on tensioner pulley, pull the spanner in direction of radiator only square.you will probably
need an open to lock with the open end of the ring and off it will come, remove belt, you must draw a sketch of it's direction
round the pulleys. You can now run engine but don't rev much.Listen to sound of engine. If sound has goneit is one of those
disconnected.try looking for movement in any of the pulleys or feel for a rumble in the bearings. Also look at the rigged side
of belt, looking for cracks or missing gaps in the 'V's. good luck.
