Ditto what Kloker and TGlenn said above. If the OP's car is on the street, perhaps the battery tender and extension cable might not be a viable option. But if the car is in the driveway, it's easily done. Battery minder inside garage. Ring terminals permanently attached to battery terminals. Extension cable from battery minder under the garage door to under the closed hood. I have one of my cars in the driveway sitting that way nearly year-round. Works great.

      Battery tender extension cable.

      Battery tender extension cable.
If I was a street parking CRV owner... I would install a solar panel and smart charging circuit to deal with this. You can mount the solar panel on the roof of the CRV and nobody would likely even notice it was there. Plenty to choose from online at Amazon or other sources.

Or if you are comfortable mounting the panel with suction cups to the inside of your windshield.. they have these available too example (not endorsing the product, only showing an example) https://www.amazon.com/Sun-Energise-Waterproof-Battery-Charger/dp/B084DP61FJ/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2XM7FCCZ1LKFO&dchild=1&keywords=solar+car+battery+charger+12v+battery+trickle+charger+maintainer&qid=1605221288&sprefix=solar+car+batt,aps,232&sr=8-4
