Pricing for the labor side can be very local. Do research to find a place with a good reputation, as quality can vary greatly.

For the hardware, in case kenkurzweil isn't around, I'm taking a wild guess that they had something like this installed:

I've not used any of the iSimple products, but PAC is the parent company and has a good reputation. Other PAC hardware I've used has been good. The desire for an aux jack has faded to the point that there are not that many manufactures still making equipment. I think that specific product might not even be made anymore, though it is listed as in stock.

Thanks for the response 493008. I got a quote for $350 CDN ($250 USD) from a car radio shop to install an AUX jack. A bit steep for such a little thing, but it is what it is.
Another workaround I am going to try first is either A) a FM Modulator with 1/8 jack connects through cig lighter and wirelessly connects to stereo (sound quality is probably crap since its going through the radio station, I used this option on my 1992 Integra back in the day(it had a tape deck! lol) , or B) Purchase a Bluetooth transmitter adapter for my old ipod. I can then use the Audio Bluetooth part of the stereo and hopefully still manually control the ipod in my hand.
