    Tires, Wheels and Suspensions
Why do it before it’s needed?
  2. Putting the back seats down

    Problems & Issues
I’m 6’3”, so when I fold down the rear seats in just about any car I need to move my seat forward so the rear seat will lay down completely. There is no gap.
  3. Putting the back seats down

    Problems & Issues
Are your dogs in harnesses and secured? Ours sit on the back seat strapped in. We have a padded seat cover that offers more traction. I imagine if you were taller the seat would be back further and there wouldn’t be a large gap.
  4. 2015 CRV Brake Pads question

    Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
Mine made no noise, it depends on which pad wears out on the wheel. Only the outside pad on the passenger side was worn, the inside pad was perfect, so were the driver side pads. Front pads were in great condition too.

  6. 2015 CRV Brake Pads question

    Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
If your brother or neighbor didn’t inspect them then their “opinion” is irrelevant. The rear brakes can stick if they get rusty, which can easily wear them out. I changed the rear brakes on my 15 very early due to this.
  7. Considering a 4th gen

2012-2016 Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen 4)
“That "undersized and lower quality battery" just won't quit.” People report battery problems, enough of them that the OP asked about it. Because one person said it lasted 4 years in their CRV is great. But each persons driving habits are different. Honda has been putting small batteries in...
  8. Considering a 4th gen

2012-2016 Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen 4)
The battery complaints are mainly due to an undersized and lower quality battery used by Honda. If your battery fails during warranty you typically get another similar battery that will fail again prematurely. Putting in a higher capacity battery normally takes care of the problem. 15’s...
  9. Remote Start Heat Issues

2017 - Present Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen
Normal for a current CRV, there are at least a dozen other posts on the same subject.
  10. 2018 EX-L "Range" Declining

Fuel Economy and Gas Related Discussion
I frequent several different vehicle forums to stay up to date on the ones I own, or are interested in. The fuel mileage tracking and reporting systems in most cars aren’t extremely accurate. People that compare it to actual fuel used commonly report them being .5 mpg to 2.0 off. Change tire...
  11. 2015 CR-V HVAC Tune Up. Is this worth it??

2012-2016 Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen 4)
The K&N is a waste of money, it will do nothing for any aspect of the performance.
  12. 2015 CR-V HVAC Tune Up. Is this worth it??

2012-2016 Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen 4)
When they “ask” you to buy a new car for 30% over the list price what are you going to say. They are required by their bosses at the individual dealership to recommend all sorts of non essential stuff hoping you will say yes.

If you have a point you’re Trying to make, just get to it. So far it’s not coming across as you think it may be.
  16. Reminder...oil overfilled at dealer...

2017 - Present Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen
I can do that, but what will it tell me? It makes no difference if it’s 1oz or 32oz, if they check the oil after they do the work they will know they didn’t do it correctly.
  17. Reminder...oil overfilled at dealer...

2017 - Present Official Specs, Features, Etc. (Gen
It’s irrelevant, once the engine is started the filter is force filled, checking it after that will tell the technician (kid) if the oil level is correct or not. I’ve had them so overfilled that oil was blowing out from several orifices, there was no way they checked the level after filling it...
  18. 2019 CRV Touring-severe tailbone pain

    Problems & Issues
Seat comfort is an area where it’s very difficult to please everyone. I drive a company car, there’s a couple dozen of them, some drivers hate the seats, I think they’re great. I wouldn’t say the CRV seats are soft, but a simple cushion should override any tailbone issues.

You made some sort of claim, so it’s up to you to explain it. My interpretation may not be what you expected.

Sorry, still doesn’t make sense, at least not with the amount of info supplied so far.
