The antenna and part of the antenna base of our 2015 CR-V EX-L disappeared all of a sudden I have been able to replace it but I'm having a hard time finding a sharkfin cover to go over it any help would be appreciated.

I thought as DAB came in the car there would be a simple means of just adding an adapter to install an aftermarket headunit with DAB. From what I've found it seems people are resorting to installing a new stick on the windscreen type DAB antenna. Is this the only way? Thanks.
  3. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Does anyone knows how to remove it? Im planning of putting a glossy black film on the roof, Im checking youtube but its only the civic had a video how to remove it.?

How is the antenna base mounted to the roof on a 2016 CRV? I backed out of the garage not realizing the door was not fully open, and hit the antenna base just hard enough to create a gap between the base and the roof, which will leak if I don't get it fixed. The base doesn't appear to be broken...

I am planning an installation of some radio equipment, and I can only find the one main grommet on the driver side. This seems too narrow for the additional cabling I need to pass thru. Has anyone had success with such installations? I am close to drilling a new hole, but would really prefer...

Looking for some recommendation on a good car antenna, and also installations procedures . Went to junk yard for some parts, and tried for a little while to take one off, seems like a project ! Thanks so much, H4fun

Over the years the stick antenna's faded and became small ones to fins on a roof while the actual radio antenna is now in the rea defroster area of the window. Has anyone found an Accessory that they may like over the stock ants on the back? WOuld you put a illumination one on if...

One week old 2018 EX and not happy with FM reception. Like others, see little value in Sirius/XM. Wondering if anyone knows if the fin can be replaced with a more traditional radio antenna for better reception.

I haven't had a CB since the 70's trucker craze. That said they are useful since truckers keep each other appraised of road conditions and detours in case of jams. We travel a lot and it would be nice to avoid some of the jams we run into. So I started looking into radios and it seems the...

Hi, I have the 7" stubby antenna on the rear of the 2002 CRV's roof and I'm looking to replace it with a UK DAB digital radio compatible one. There are various aerials available but there is also a converter to work with existing passive antenna. Can any one tell me if the stock antenna on...

Does anyone know if any place sell such a thing? I found that there is a product made by AntennaMastsRus for White and Red color Shark Fin Antenna, which they claim to be functional, and got 5 stars review on Amazon. Anyone has any experience about this, and does any manufacturer make "Urban...

Where can I get instructions for replacing the base of the antenna?

I have a 2015 CRV EX, and want to install an aftermarket Sirius XM radio (Onyx Plus). I got the radio to work in the car using an FM transmission to the car radio, so everything works, the problem is that I cannot figure out how to mount the antenna. The manual for the radio talks about "tucking...

Anyone replace the solid steel 31" stock antenna with a smaller flexible one. Tired of taking off the stock antenna every time I go to the car wash. I see some of the smaller flexible ones but not sure of reception goes down.. Thanks

Does anyone know where the GPS Navi antenna is located on the dash interior, and how it is connected to the head unit? Also, searching the Honda Parts sites, I don't see any wire that connects the antenna to the Navi unit. Other models like the civics, have a long wire that is part of the...

Loving this new shark fin antenna! Around $90, easy to install, screws into the existing antenna base and sticks on using 3M adhesive.
  17. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
I removed the antenna on my 2016 CR-V Touring before running it through the car wash, and then drove without it for 2 weeks because I forgot about it, and it didn't seem to have any effect on FM reception. I don't use satellite radio/Sirius, and almost never use the built-in navigation system...
