I attempted to connect my iPhone 8 to our CR-V Aux input using a 1/8" male to male patch cable connected to the Lightning adapter and the car's input. I played some audio from a couple different apps but the audio only came out the right speakers (very very low, almost inaudible through the...
Anybody replaced one? Mine doesn't work anymore unless i put a lot of force to the right side of the cable. I guess it took a heavy whack and dislodged the port inside.
Want to replace it but don't know where to start. I tried pulling it towards me with some nose pliers but that just felt...
I'm looking to purchase a 2008 Honda CRV EXL (with navigation and backup camera). I previously owned a 2000 CRV and played my music through a cassette adapter. I noticed the 2008 no longer has cassette inputs. Therefore, I was looking to play music through another method. I prefer not to do...
Getting ready to install an FM bypass unit, probably the iSimple IS31 on our new CRV. It will create an AUX port for my digital Walkman and portable XM receiver.
The bypass installs inline with the cars FM antenna and injects the programming over an FM frequency that you choose.
Has anyone done...
I just bought a 2010 CRV EX which I pick up next week.
I know the nav/audio system doesn't support bluetooth audio streaming so I'm just investigating my best options.
Option 1: replace the stock unit with a newer aftermarket one. Expensive and fiddly.
Option 2: use something like...
I was trying to use a BT transmitter to connect an old ipod based on information in the thread called "USB to Aux in 2017 CRV". I cannot get it to pair. The vehicle seems to only want to connect to a phone. Folks on that thread seem to have gotten it to work, but I did not get a reply for help...
Hello all, we have a 2008 CR-V, I believe the ex-l with the navigation and such (which of course is way out of date - we've owned the cr-v since 2012 and never updated the nav).
Anyway, my wife has been bugging me a bit about doing something to make playing audio from a phone easier. We...
OK, I play a cd for my elderly Aunt when she's with me so we can play only her favorites. I had no idea this vehicle didn't have a cd player. I didn't even think about it. OK, so I figured I can just use auxiliary in.. Ummm, nope not one of those either. I'm steamed. On a 30k car, really??
I have a 2005 Exec with sat nav.
I want to connect an aux and have seen this on ebay.
Anyone any experience of fitting these - will it work, is it easy to connect, can I get access behind the satnav without taking it out?

Hello. I've tried to search this up on the forums, but I haven't found anybody talking about this yet. I may just have glossed over it, however.
I've been looking into getting a CRV 2017, either EX or EX-L, and one of the issues that came up was the fact that it had no CD player. Okay, so I...
Having issues getting my phone to recognize that an aux cord has been plugged in on my 2007 CRV. It is only this phone, my old phone worked fine, my kids' devices work fine AND this phone works fine in other cars and on my computer as far as recognizing AUX or headphones.
Ideas? I have no...
I revitalized a 2005 LX last year for my daughter. She really wants to get a new head unit but would be happy with just an aux port. Today she said she had been watching YouTube and was wondering if there was an auxiliary input behind the head unit that is semi accessible without...
Hi I recently purchased a 2011 CRV LX. It has a single 12 outlet on the lower front console, no heated seats and the fold down tray. The fold down tray has no outlets. I need more outlets. It looks like in pictures that some of the trays have extra 12v outlets but I do not see a pigtail...
For the '09 stock radio that has the 3.5mm AUX input just below the head unit:
-First, plug in the 3.5mm AUX cable & radio switches to that AUX input. GOOD.
-LEAVE AUX CABLE PLUGGED IN..
-Able to then switch to AM/FM/CD by simply hitting the appropriate button.
-Then NOT able to choose AUX again...
Hello, new girl here.
I am the proud original owner of a 2006 CR-V SE 4WD. Whew, that's a mouthful! I love my car but am wanting to make a couple of upgrades to it, preferably on my own instead of having a dealer or mechanic handle for me. I figure someone here will be able to answer some...
