  1. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Hello Folks, Canadian CRV owner here. I have my lease maturing in about 4 months. I leased the vehicle with the intention of buying out at the end of the lease contract. However, now that the Oil dilution problems are doing the rounds i am considering whether i should give back the vehicle...
  2. Gen 2: 2002-2006 (UK 2002-2007) CR-V
This is for a 2004 Honda CR-V, with about 115,000 miles on it... My mechanic says I need new upper strut front mounts. He says they're about $90 each, and I'm looking at about $500 with labor. I think this is too much - and other work I've had done seems to be on the high side (ie, too...
  3. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
My wife has a 2017 CRV and often transports dogs in crates in the back. She leaves the rear seat backs down and directs the backseat vent towards the dogs. However there does not seem to be sufficient cooling in the Florida sun. The floor vents add nothing so the rear console vent provides all...

  5. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I have a 2019 CR-V SUV Touring and would like to know if I can adjust the "beep" when I hear the back-up warning. For example, while pulling out of a parking space and a car is nearing. The beep is rather low and am hoping there is an adjustment for it. Thank you.

  7. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Does anyone else experience a slight pull back (feels like engine braking) about half a second after letting go of the gas pedal? This only happens at low speeds ~20-30mph. I know CVT’s sometimes have trouble figuring out gears at low speeds. Is that the reason?
  8. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
This is starting to bug me. Sometimes when I hit close for the power liftgate it gets 95% of the way shut then senses something & opens back up. I've tested it by taking everything out of the back & when it is misbehaving it still does it. No rhyme or reason & nothing is blocking it. Has this...
  9. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I just picked up a 2017 CRV EX-L with brand new M/S tires and immediately heard what sounded like chunks of the tires shredding and being thrown up into the undercarriage of the car, in the rear.. It happened on dry smooth pavement; streets, freeway.. And it continued for the whole 400 mile trip...
  10. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
Hi Just bought CR-V 2018 Touring and I decided to check oil. And it is honestly quite hard to put oil stick back. I had to rotate it, move up and down until it fits back. I never had that issue on 2014 Civic or 2014 Accord. Does anybody else have this problem? Vlad

I just bought a new 2018 Ex and have all of the all weather mats coming but I really want to find back of seat protectors to protect when I have the seats down like Subaru have (see attached picture). If anyone knows of options for this I'd be grateful. Greg Sent from my SM-T813 using Tapatalk
  12. Greetings & Introductions
A few years back I got my first car, a 2001 CR-V. Absolutely loved it, kept up on maintenance, and a year and a half later it was stolen and destroyed. After two more horrible car luck scenarios I now have a 2002 EX. It’s black and in great cosmetic condition, 189k miles but the trans and engine...
  13. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
I have been looking for an AWD CR-V and reading up on them. Thank you to the forum members for helping with my education! I have come across 2 cars (both 2012) that have the AWD badging at the back, but when I put the VIN in the Honda Tech VIN Decoder they come up as 4WD. Maybe this is something...
  14. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I have a 2018 EX-L with only 3500 kms on it. Lately, the back hatch will not always open either with the remote or with a direct 1 second push on the longer of the two buttons on the underside of the trim strip. The motor starts and growls but the door does not lift.....(I can lift it manually...
  15. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
Hey guys and gals it's been awhile since I've been on. I've been super busy making money and blowing it on my V, LOL. But we all know that to get the things in life that we enjoy we must sometimes sacrifice. I have done an extensive amount of upgrades to my CRV since the last time I was here...
