  1. Gen 5 CR-V: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023)
Okay so we're all well aware of the importance of proper engine break-in for the optimal performance and durability. We also know that overfilling the engines at the Honda factory seems to be quite prevalent, if not SOP (also at many dealerships). I'm wondering if this engine overfilling is...
  2. Gen 5 CR-V: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023)
I purchased my CR-V about a week ago, and it has about 150 miles on her. My mpg for my city trips has been around 20-21 mpg (using the trip info in the console). I don't drive fast, and don't do any hard acceleration/braking. Granted I live in a big city and there are a lot of stops, the...
  3. Gen 5 CR-V: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023)
I have a new 2018 EX L AWD and the only thing I found in the manual was to not push the engine to hard (fast acceleration. etc) for the first 600 miles. Is that right? IF so, now that I have 600 miles on the car I guess I can push it to its limits?
  4. Gen 5 CR-V: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023)
Anyone knows what the breakin period is? Should I keep steady acceleration or try to make fluctuations while driving in the next 1000 miles? Any information will be apreciated. (Touring 2017) Sent from my SM-T713 using Tapatalk

Hi All: I am going to become a 07 EX-L CRV w.Tango Red/Gray Owner in a few days. This is my first honda car and I am very exciting about it. I have a question about so-call "new engine break-in". Is it for real? How do you do it? How important for the new car engine, especially for 07CRV...
  6. Gen 3 CR-V: 2007-2011 (UK 2007-2012)
Just got my 07 CRV EXL with NAV yesterday. The manual appears to be silent on changing the oil in the break-in period or do I just change it every 300 miles? Has anyone tried screen protectors on the NAV screen. I had many scratches on my 03 Accord.
