  1. Bright LED Headlight and/or Fog lights for visually impaired night driving

    Do-It-Yourself / Mods
My wife has vision problems, Cataracts and Macular Degeneration, and needs the headlights (and fog lights?) to be as bright as possible; (without blinding oncoming traffic). What the the brightest lights I can get. She saw some ‘Blue Ice’ lights that she thought would help. Would fog lights...
  2. Start button TOO bright

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
Seems like the push button start light is way TOO bright (and RED) during the day. Any way to lower? Thanks
  3. Difficult to see water temperature and fuel gauges in bright light

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
Sick of the poor legibility of the water temperature and fuel gauges during the day. I can’t believe that Honda didn’t correct this prior to going into production. Things are much better with this design on the Civic Type R by using red LEDs.
  4. Crossbar to mount bright light bar on rack

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
Hey Folks, I want to use an inexpensive crossbar to drill holes in for a long light bar (22 inches). I didn't want to mount anything permanent and be used on the weekends at the beach. Has anyone bought a generic crossbar model they can suggest for such a task? Found a photo like this but for...
  5. LED headlights too bright?

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
I've noticed several times people flashing their brights at me. I'm assuming they're trying to tell me that they think my high beams are on. Anyone else with a Touring model experience this? I think it's kinda funny. :p
  6. Display either very bright or very dim

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
When I turn the knob on the front dash window to dim the display the settings are binary, either very dim or very bright. Is there no way to set it in between?
  7. 2015 CRV Daytime Running Lights bright on bottom, dim on sides and top

    Gen 4: 2012-2016 CR-V
Hi folks, can anyone tell me how the 2015 CRV daytime running lights behave? On mine the bottom row is very bright and can be seen from far away, the top and outer sides are very dim and can't be seen from 20' away. Is that normal? Thanks for any help. OB
  8. Honda CRV License Plate LEDs! Plug and Play installation! Same-day shipping!

    Diode Dynamics
Honda CRV License Plate LEDs License plate bulbs are used to illuminate the rear license plate on your CRV. From the factory, the bulbs are incandescent, lighting up in a yellowish color. Newer luxury cars use LED modules to illuminate the license plate with modern, cool white light. By...
  9. More on poor bright headlights

    Problems & Issues
Hello, I am a newbie to the forum and hope to participate with questions as well as being able to contribute. My wife and I recently purchased our first CR-V. A 2012 with very few miles. EX-L. Thus far we like it very well with the exception being the bright setting headlights. As a previous...
  10. Headlights won't work on dim, work fine on bright

    Problems & Issues
I'm forced to drive with my brights on since they don't work on dim. All the running lights are fine on dim, just not the headlights. I've read all the posts and found no solutions. I checked all fuses and they're fine. I swapped relays with the same result. I tried a brand new light and...
  11. Question about Milano Red '99 CR-V

    Gen 1: 1996-2001 CR-V
Hey gang, I'm in the process of buying a nice red 1999 CR-V EX with 81k miles (pic below). I really like the red... it's very bright, much brighter than just about every other red CR-V I've ever seen (which appear to be more maroon than red). I was trying to figure out the exact color name for...
  12. Question about bright center dash display

    Gen 3: 2007-2011 CR-V
I recently upgraded from a 2007 to 2011 model. The new model has a much brighter center display planel (where the avg mileage, overhead car diagtram, etc. is). In fact, it seems too bright. When I open any door, the center part of that display panel (where the vehicle diagram is) changes to a...
