Took my CRV to the dealership after all the dash cam lights/warnings came on. Was informed that they had to replace the multipurpose camera unit. It was triggering the sensors. Anyone else had this before? Cost is over 1,100.00

Alright dudes, so I won some money on a scratch ticket during Christmas so I went with a radio upgrade finally. I really didn't want to loose my cameras, and after checking out some stuff on Crutchfield I found that radios with an iDataLink port should retain the cameras properly. I went ahead...

Good evening , I recently installed a wireless unit into my 2011 CRV-EX , However now I have noticed a problem . With ACC on the camera works fine with the brake engaged to trigger the unit. With the engine running the unit works for... maybe 2-3mins tops.. than won't switch over via the brake...

Hello all, I am currently searching for a new bike rack and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on one that does not block the rear view camera. My other idea was to either move the camera to the rear spoiler or add a second camera there? Has anyone tried this? Thanks

Anyone know if it's possible to replace the backup camera with a better quality one? I was in a BMW the other day and their backup camera is so much clearer. It got me wondering if it would be possible and/or easy to just swap out a better quality camera or if any company makes aftermarket ones.

Hello, I’m installing a wired backup camera in my CR-V and need your help on how to route the wire to the front of the vehicle to connect it to the head unit. If anybody has done it before I’d greatly appreciate your help, thanks!

Hi Folks, I've been searching this forum for 4 days and have found every which way to get the OEM Backup camera to work with an aftermarket stereo on almost all models of CRV's EXCEPT for 2012 with Navigation. I've even found the wiring diagrams for this model yet those diagrams do not show...

My rear camera is blurry and it seems common to get water in there leading to condensation. My plan is to take the lens off and dry it out and seal it again. I only saw videos for Accord/Odyssey on camera removal. those cameras seem to be a bit different (with set screws etc.) I have a 2013...

Hi Everyone, This question comes from Europe and sorry if it's been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer when searching threads! I last year I bought a low mileage 2014 CR-V EX-L Touring i.e. fully spec'd with navigation, heated everything, auto-dimming everything. As I'm reading up...

The reversing or back up camera on my 2007 CRV is loose and is probably rattling about. How is it held in place/how do you get access to it. I fear it maay be a case of removing the trim on the inside of the tailgate but before I do that would appreciate some help

Can the safety system data be retrieved from the CR-V in case of an accident? If so, how would one go about getting the data and how far back does it go? What other information could be retrieved (camera, speed, brake action, distance, etc)?

I have only been driving my new car for a few days BUT cannot locate any information on the front camera. My other car beeped when I was getting to close to an object but I hear nothing when I try to test it. Thank you -

So I have a 2005 (I checked via the VIN but im not quite sure on the year) Honda CRV and I’m trying to wire a backup camera (Auto-Vox M6) to the reverse light of the CRV. Can anyone tell me where the cord I’m looking for is?

Hi, I have a 2010 Honda that we hope to keep for another 5 years or more. Its a base model. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had someone beside Honda put in a modern, in dash unit that has some newer features. Right now we have the base level stereo in there and an ox hook up for our music...

Is there any way or can a camera be retro fited on the side mirrors of a 2012 CRV? Like the newer models have.

I have notice that when I back up the camera lines are not accurate. When I'm parked the camera lines show I am on top of the line but I am really 16 inches in from it. Does the camera need to be re calibrated? Can I do it or does the dealer have to?

Hi y'all, I have a 2018 CR-V Touring. When I put it in reverse, the rear camera is enable and I see what's behind me on the infotainment screen. Is there any way to enable the camera to display on-screen while I'm just driving my car normally? Perhaps a hack that changes a certain button to...

I've noticed the area around the reverse camera lens really tends to bead up with water whenever it rains, really obscuring the view. Just wondering if anybody's come across a rain shield or some other homebrew method to avoid the issue. I've had a little rain covering or blocking cameras...

I know a lot of people are not all that thrilled with the picture from the rear view camera and I agree that it is not as sharp as I would have liked it to be. I have adjusted mine to get the best picture and found that the factory default settings were not optimal. You can follow these steps...
