  2. Front cigarette lighter not working 2002 Gen2

    Hi Guys/Gals I've just bought a Honda CRV 2002 Gen2 and my front cigarette lighter is not working. Note the back one is working fine and I've also checked the 15Amp fuse which looks to be fine. Any ideas? Guess I should pull out my volt meter and test to see if it's live at all. Cheers Peter
  3. Removing Cigarette lighter socket.

    I think there is a loose connection on the front cigarette lighter socket. I have taken the the ashtray out but can't find any screws holding it in. How do you remove it? Just pull? Would appreciate any tips if possible. It has blown the fuse and the rear one doesn't work either. TIA.

    Hi, I wonder if anyone has the solution on what will permanently eliminate the stale cigarette smoke smell from a CRV EX that I just purchased. I have parked it in my garage with windows open to air out the interior but has not worked so far. I was thinking about trying a vinegar/water mix...

    I like to charge my cell phone even when the car is off (surpise there I am sure) but on the 2005 CR-V as peopel probably already know the car will not provide power to the 12V plug unless the key is set an 'accessory'. Is there an easy way to make it so I can get power to the 12V outlet...

    We have just purchased a 04 cr-v,all-black and beautiful,anyway the detailer's fragrance has faded and we are left with a stale cigarette smoke smell.Can anyone suggest a non-destructive solution to eliminate this smell?
