My tailgate is not closing automatically after a car wash. Honda dealer said the sensor in the door is damaged. It opens using the key, button in the car and the handle in the gate. But not closing. I have to do it manually. Should I believe what Honda says and spend 250 $ to replace it?
  2. Gen 5: 2017-2022 (UK 2018-2023) CR-V
I am wondering if any commenters have had issue with radiator shutters not closing in cold weather? I just had the re-call done at the end of Nov. on my 2018 CRV. I am still unsatisfied with the cabin heat and continued rise in oil level. However I noticed today that the bottom 2 shutters...

I have this fear that my rear hatch will someday cut off my dogs tail because I'm always tucking it in. Is this even possible?

In park, pressing dash or tailgate open/close button the tailgate closes approximately 2/3 way, then re-opens. Is there an electric safety eye that might be blocked? Don't see one. Any help for this?

I have a 2012 CRV. There are some items I would like to transport that are in the range of 79" long that I am afraid will not allow the trunk door to shut completely. I looked at the door but there do not seem obvious attachment points to use bungee or similar to latch the door shut? Has anyone...
  7. Gen 3: 2007-2011 (UK 2008-2012) CR-V
Quick question for other 2007/Gen3 owners. Does your hatch/trunk/boot or whatever it is called close easily? I'm used to a car trunk that closes very easily without having to check it. My wife and I have now left the trunk open at least twice without knowing about it. It seems we have to take...
