I have a 2008 CR-V with about 190K miles on it. The AC went out on the car and I subsequently found a small puddle under the car that turned out to be UV-dyed AC compressor oil (thicker neon green liquid) that was leaking from the AC discharge line (where metal crimps onto rubber hose)...
Hello fellow crvgang
I have on 06 and my AC compressor is always running, doesnt cycle on/off. Maybe you guys have other solutions. My compressor was brand new 3 months back.
Troubleshooting i did which doesnt solve the issue:

I’m wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, I’ve had my condenser replaced and the system regassed, but my Air Con still isn’t working which is making me think it’s the Compressor that’s had it, I’ve looked for new/second hand compressors but they’re over £250...
So here's the problem, normally one would suspect dead condenser fan, but apparently the fan spins just as it should. What I have checked:
Not super clean, but I'll say it looks pretty good given its age, the road condition that the car has been on is pretty good;
Cab air filter...
my CR-V 2007 CDTI mk3 2.2 4wd has AC compressor issues, have narrowed it down to the Clutch magnet nor working.
The AC clutch never engages ( is not even trying to)
AC relay click allright and power os present where it should.
my conclusion :

We are replacing the compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve and hoses on the vehicle. Can anyone point me to directions on accessing the evaporator/expansion valve? Can I get to them by taking out the glovebox and blower assembly?
Just a bit of click bait there. It is the second failure of an AC compressor in this vehicle with second compressor lasting around 130K before dying. The first on died around 64K and Honda picked up the tab. This one gave up its ghost this past weekend going out with a scream and a little pop...
I am replacing the compressor+condenser+hose(the line connecting them)
I am trying to figure how much oil i need and how to add it to the system.
The honda manual for the 3rd Generation CRV i have says
But the instructions for the Denso compressor i got says to remove the oil from the old...
I purchased a used 2010 CRV-EX-L w/110K last March. Until 3 weeks ago the vehicle has been excellent. On a trip to Harrisburg, PA the A/C compressor seized. Luckily it happened while I was near a Nissan Dealership. The dealership was affiliated with a Honda dealership two miles away. I was...
I pulled the 3 wires from my female plug on the harness side that plugs into the compressor. There is a Red, Red/White, and Green/Red. I assume the solid red should be on the same pin as the solid red in the compressor, but the other 2 lead to something that resembles a sensor of some type. I...
My AC stopped working a year ago 160k+ Miles
The clutch does not seem to engage. Does not spin with engine on, but can turn by hand.
crv 2007 EX-L 3rd Gen
Currently have Sanden TRSE09 Model 3752 ( I am guessing this is the original )
Since replacing just the clutch while on the car is...
08 v and the ac compressor stays on all the time and the pressure just keeps going up.
Replaced the compressor clutch with no change?
Anybody can shed some light as to what may be the trouble?
Noticed the relay getting very hot too, Replaced the relay as well no change.
