  1. Gen 5: 2017-2021 (UK 2018-2022) CR-V
Hi When I remotely start my new Honda CRV 2018 the air conditioner does not come on? How do I get it to come on and I guess this would apply for winter time to for the heater as well? Please let me know how I get it to work while I’m away from the vehicle? Thank you Wendy
  2. Greetings & Introductions
We are new to this and completely confused. :-) My wife and I bought our CR V last year in February and we fell in love with it before driving it off the lot. Everything was great until the hottest day of last summer when on a trip and at the snap of a finger, the air conditioner started...

My wife and I bought our CR V last year in February and we fell in love with it before driving it off the lot. Everything was great until the hottest day of last summer when on a trip and at the snap of a finger, the air conditioner started blowing hot air. Being somewhat knowledgeable about...

Air conditioning system has worked flawlessly since new with only one preventative servicing (about 5 years ago) in 11 years. Yesterday while highway driving during the course of the second leg of a two-day 700 mile trip, it suddenly starting blowing non-cooled air. I turned the air off and...
  5. Gen 4: 2012-2016 (UK 2012-2017) CR-V
2015 Honda CR-V When using the air conditioner it usual takes anywhere from 2 to 4 miles for it to put out cold air. This is in 70 to 80 degree weather. After that initial cool down it works fine. Is this a usual trait for the CR-V? :uhoh3:
  6. Gen 3: 2007-2011 (UK 2008-2012) CR-V
I have a 2009 CR-V with only 43,000 miles. A few months ago the battery died and had to be jump started and then I got the battery replaced. I don't know if that has any thing to do with my problem, but ever since the AC does not cool when idling but works fine when driving at normal speeds. I...

On two hot days greater than 90 degrees, AC stopped working. Then started working after about an hour of leaving it off. The second time it happened the ambient temperature readout stayed at 73 degrees until driving for 25 minutes the indicated temperature gradually creeped up to the actual...
  8. Gen 5: 2017-2021 (UK 2018-2022) CR-V
The temperature was over 100 this weekend here in the bay area. I had the air conditioner running full but the temperature of the blowing was not very cold, especially compared to the temperature output my air conditioner in my 2004 CRV would be. What have been your experiences with the air...
  9. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
'98 CRV Timing belt changed in 8/13. Told by independent mechanic that Honda must've over tightened the bolt when replacing the pulley as it NEVER/EVER should shear off (unless an accident and there wasn't one). The pulley was just banging around inside the car and the belt flopping. Drive belt...
  10. Recalls, TSB's & Notices
My wife recently has had some problem with the air conditioner on her CRV going out without warning. I checked the lines, pressure and everything seemed OK. So we called the dealer and he said that they would check it out, there has been a recall. He wasn't very specific with her regarding just...
  11. Miscellaneous / General CR-V Discussions
My 2004 crv blew the AC, Honda ponied up the parts but I paid the labor. Well anyway today as part of the class action lawsuit i got a check for $204.75. About 1/4 of the labor charge I paid, but still very welcome. Anyone else?
  12. Gen 1: 1996-2001 (UK 1995-2001) CR-V
The air conditioner on my 2000 CRV needs to be serviced. I noticed my local Schuck's Auto Supply store sells the cannister to recharge the air conditioning system. Is this effective, safe and easy to perform? Thanks.

Can anyone tell me the recommended pressure in the air conditioning system on a 1998 CR-V, please?
