Hello all, New poster here. I need to remove the plastic cowl cover on my 2000 CRV. I have a water leak issue into the passenger side foot well during heavy rain and (based on a bit of looking around) I think there may be some blockage under there I need to clear. Everything I have read...

I took off the windscreen cowl, the plastic cover at the bottom of the windscreen and when I refitted it there's gaps where debris like leaves etc can fall into or get lodged. I'm not sure if it was like that before I removed it but it shouldn't be like that, are there any tips to make it fit...

Today I must sadly admit my minor DIY failure... It's a good practice to set the oil cap somewhere where it will prevent the hood from closing to keep you from forgetting to put it back on. On my last car, a B5 Passat, the wiper cowl worked great for this, as the firewall was at the base of...

Hi, Had to replace windshield on my CR-V 2010 due to crack. There is now significant gap between cowl cover and windshield. Is it normal, what is the fix? I assume clips were broken during replacement. Also wanted to know is there normally any adhesive between cowl cover and glass? Thanks

OK, so I'm a car maintenance newbie. I have a 1999 Honda CRV and am attempting to replace the front wiper motor. I managed to get the upper cowl clips--the ones you can see with the hood closed--off, but the lower ones are defeating me. I saw one AutoZone Repair Guide that says to use two...

When it rains or when I wash my 2010 CRV water collects and stands in the cowl area on the passengers side just below the wiper. It will drain if the car is leaning towards the drivers side. No water is draining into the cabin. Is there a drain hole that might be stopped up.

So i had the leaky passenger floor which is apparently a problem with the G1 Vz and tried removing the cowl to seal up from future rain. got all but one clip off the top row and crack... It had a hair line crack from previous owner i guess i just totalled it... ANYWAY I NEEDA A NEW ONE the...

Hi from a new member in NC The plastic molded cowling that is under the windshield and covers the air vents and wiper bases is cracked on my 99 CRV. I want to order a new one and install it myself, but would prefer not to go to the dealer as I am sure I will get spanked with an unreasonable...

Does anyone make a new cowl cover for the 1999 CRV? Mine has been goobered by a windshield installer. LR V2
