I have used the Honda link apps for navigation with no problems until recently. When I try to connect everything now with the cables, I can see the map on my iPhone, but it’s not mirroring on the car screen. The screen goes dark. Dealership has no idea what to tell me. Help!

I've noticed that the instrument panel & head unit goes dark when driving thru a tunnel (during daylight), and after exiting the tunnel, stays dark until I tap the head unit screen. Everything else seems so be fine with the brightness settings but this. Any idea what's going on?
