It doesn't have any spark since I attempted to put in a new distributor to hopefully solve the dreaded misfire code it had after completing a head resurface and valve job, timing belt and a whole lot of other...
I have a 1998 crv. It intermittently dies. We have had the recall on the ignition switch done, changed the distributor,also has a new fuel pump and it still dies. Any recommendations on where to look next?
So I put everything on the Mutt back together, connected all of the connectors and clipped all hoses and such back where they go.
So I tried turning over. And it turns over just fine; no resistance or anything. Nice and strong.

The timing on my 2000 Honda CRV is off, but the distributor won't turn any further. I had the same problem on the original distributor and the bearings were starting to squeal, so I replaced it and the timing is still off with the distributor turned as far as it will go.
