  1. 2019 CR-V Glove Box Door - Removal / Replacement

    Gen 5: 2017-Present CR-V
The glove box door on my '19 has a big, nasty scuff and I would like to replace it. Is this a difficult job, requiring a lot of dash dis-assembly, or can a competent DIYer do it themself ? I've scoured the 'Net looking for instructions but have had no luck finding anything. Thanks.
  2. Installed Ambient Light Accessory (& Glove Box Light)

Here is my install log of Honda's Ambient Light Accessory on a 2018 CRV. While I was at it I decided to splice into the wire harness and run a wire to the glove box so I could have an illuminated glove box ... which the wife loves BTW. The passenger side ambient light wire runs right...

  7. 1999 CRV - Warm AC, hissing noise behind the glove box (Expansion valve leak?)

Hello all, I recently purchased a 1999 CRV, I've owned a couple and had AC issues before. The first simply needed a new compressor, and was good to go. AC on my new 1999 CRV does not work. When the AC button is pressed, a hissing noise begins and continues until I turn the vents off or turn...

I was removing the right side glove box stopper so I could change my cabin filter in my 2004 CR-V when it slipped away from me and it fell down a black hole behind the passenger side kick panel. 12. 4th Gen (2012+) Glove Box light (mod ideas)

    Do-It-Yourself / Mods
OK, so Honda is not putting lights in our glove compartments. They do on other models, namely older ones... Anyhow, the Civic forums have an interesting thread HERE explaining how to retrofit an Insight glovebox light switch/bulb unit into their Civics. All for $25 or so. Im game. Problem...
  13. Move glove box lock to right side of handle

    Dear Honda:
It is a small ergonomic thing: The lock on the glove box of the 2012-13 CR-V's would be better placed on the right side of the handle instead of on the left side. This would make opening the glove box from the driver's seat much easier.

  20. Glove compartment light

    Gen 3: 2007-2011 CR-V
Does the more expensive EX-L comes with a lighted glove compartment? I mean the one in the bottom of course. Really miss having a light, may be cost saving by Honda chopped off this feature...? Don't think it should be all that difficult installing a push switch, a light, and run a wire...
