Just purchased a set of splash guards for my new CRV EX-L. Should arrive next week. Sounds like installation should be easy, anyone out there had experience with installing these ? If so, any hints, tips or general information I should have to avoid angry words, scrapped knuckles and a lousy...

I have seen a couple of Honda CR-V's with some kind of bumper guards attached to the front and back. I have a 2011 EX model. Do these really work, is it a DIY and what vendor/brand would you recommend?

I saw a red '10 crv yesterday with both front and back bumper guard installed. I think I saw the side step too.. Don't quite remember tho. anyway, these guards were black, not the chrome type. Front look something like this. .

Why do Honda part sites show only the front mud guards for sale when my dealer installed a front and rears?

Hi all, Question on buying and installing the above; are they worth it? I see on the assessories supplier with the link on this forum they are less than $45 and look to be "custom" fitted to our doors shape rather than the old fashion style that were some sort of flexible plastic that you had...

I Have a new 2010 CR-V LX that I just purchased yesterday. During the negotiations they were trying to sell me their "Protection package" ($200). I believe all it includes are Wheel Locks & Splash Guards for the front tires? Anyway the Wheels locks are not a necessity for me, but before winter...

My dealer threw in some door edge guards when I bought my car a few weeks ago, but I haven't had them installed yet. I'm kind of on the fence about them. On the one hand, I like the idea of protecting the edges of the doors (if my daughter opens door next to a wall or fence or something), but I...

Really need to find front splash/mud guards, have had no luck with any dealer in the midwest. All claim they are not available anymore. Anyone have some? Anyone no where I can get some? New or used...... Dave

I just received from H&A Accessories and put on my 2008 CR-V EX a set of front splash guards. What a pleasant experience. Everything fit perfectly. Remove three screws, hold the guard in place, replace screws. They look good. I guess there is something to say about using actual Honda parts...

Parts just arrived. Reviewed the install sheet. Looks good. One question: wondering why the use of paste wax behind the splash guards, when the backing material is all plastic? Perhaps to ensure that the splash guards do not "weld" themselves to the body? Any thoughts? Thanks, Bradley

Does anyone have a picture of an '07-'08 CR-V with the color matched door edge guards installed? Preferably in Royal Blue Pearl, but any V with them installed would give me a good idea. Thanks, Chris

After over a year of research, I'm finally getting ready to place an order for a CR-V EX-L. I like the looks of the tailgate spoiler and the functionality of the front splash guards, but being that I tend to keep my cars for many years and live in the rust belt of Ohio, I'm concerned about...

    H and A has 1st gen (1997-2001) front splash guards for $18. This is a steal! .

:) It is winter you know, and the trucks have been dumping sand and gravel and magnesium chrolide out like it is going out of sytle. We just got our 08 CR-V EX and was I in for a shock. What was Honda thinking not offering front splash guards as standard equipment. And the front guards need to...

  19. Gen 3: 2007-2011 (UK 2008-2012) CR-V
Does anyone know if the front splash guards are the same as the rear? My wife was backing out of the garage and grazed the side of the garage and bent the rear passenger splash guard.

I'm looking for window guards for my 99 V. (By window guards I mean the things that you can put at the tops of your windows so that you can leave your windows open a bit when it rains for ventilation, etc.) I've looked on H and A and they don't carry them, and I've tried to find them in store...
